The Manila International Airport Authority has announced that there will be another five-hour electrical maintenance and upgrading work at
the Ninoy Aquino International Airport – Terminal 3 on Tuesday.

The work will take place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is part of the MIAA’s efforts to improve the current state and condition of NAIA
Terminal 3’s electrical system.

The airport management has assured the public that generators will be activated to ensure power supply to critical equipment and facilities
and that there will be no expected impact on flight operations.

The MIAA has been working to improve the facilities and passenger processing systems at the airport following the brownouts that
happened on May 1 and June 9.

Recently, a four-hour power maintenance work was conducted on Aug. 8 and 9.

MIAA officer in charge Bryan Co has promised that the MIAA shall complete the electrical systems rehabilitation and upgrade as soon as
possible.
