P206M worth of fake ‘LV’ products seized

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has confiscated over P206 million worth of counterfeit luxury products in Bulacan, Pasay, and Parañaque.

On August 9, the NBI’s Intellectual Property Rights Division (NBI-IPRD) implemented six search warrants against Warehouse 6 in RIS 1 Complex in Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Four were also implemented for stalls in LRT shopping mall in Pasay City and Micar Shopping Center in Parañaque.

“The operation resulted in the seizure of 1,588 pieces of counterfeit Louis Vuitton products worth Php 206,000,000.00 for violation of RA 8293 Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines,” The bureau posted in a statement.
