BTS’ V announces debut solo album ‘Layover’

V of Grammy-nominated group BTS surprised fans on Tuesday, August 8, with the announcement of his debut solo album, Layover.

In a short teaser released by the music label, Big Hit Music said that V’s solo album will be dropping on September 8.

The Korean idol promised to showcase amazing new performances and is set to make various appearances alongside the album’s release.

On the other hand, it was also revealed in a separate post that the highly-anticipated album of the BTS member consists of six tracks namely, “Rainy Days”, “Blue”, “Love Me Again”, “Slow Dancing”, “For Us”, and a bonus track, the piano version of “Slow Dancing”.

“To fully appreciate the album’s flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish,” Big Hit said.

To add more excitement to the ARMYs all over the world, it added, that “music videos for all five tracks will also be revealed.”

Big Hit also asked fans to continue supporting V as he embarked on a new journey of having his first solo album.

V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, is the seventh member of BTS to release a solo album.
