A5 pic 2 Welcome Home 4th Marine Battalion (2) — Welcome Home 4th Marine Battalion In a simple yet meaningful and worthwhile ceremony on 22 July 2023, the Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps, MGEN ARTURO G ROJAS PN(M) welcomes the arrival of 4th Marine Battalion at the Naval Base Alano in Sangley Point, Cavite City. In his message, The Commandant lauded the unit's significant feats in totally dismantling the armed component and influence of Communist Terrorists Group's Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee in the province of Palawan. After 12 years of deployment in the Western Frontier, the 4th Marine Battalion will undergo the Marine Corps' Retraining and Refurbishment Program. These Marines will be transformed from an infantry-centric unit to one that is more fitted for archipelagic maneuvers and coastal defense.
