Actor Jolo Estrada has been receiving praises for his performance in the romantic film Seasons, which quickly became the most-watched film on Netflix Philippines since its release on July 7.
In the movie, Jolo portrays the third wheel in the relationship between Lovi Poe and Carlo Aquino‘s characters. He takes on the role of Hans, Lovi Poe’s colleague and office-mate, who relentlessly pursues her. However, when Hans realizes Lovi is deeply in love with her best friend Kurt, played by Carlo Aquino, he faces a dilemma: should he continue pursuing her or accept a broken heart?
Jolo expresses his gratitude to producer Roselle Monteverde for giving him the opportunity to be part of this project.
“It has been almost seven years since I first appeared on the big screen under my father’s film production. So, when I arrived on the set of Seasons in Ilocos, I was a bit nervous. But the cast, crew, including my co-actors Lovi and Carlo, and our director Easy Ferrer, welcomed me like family,” Jolo confesses.
“They made me feel right at home,” he adds.
Seasons has also entered the top 10 most-viewed movie charts on Netflix in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait. This new film, conceptualized by Lovi Poe with a screenplay by Dwein Baltazar, is now available for streaming worldwide on Netflix.
