Senator Christopher “Bong” Go on Wednesday expressed his continuous support for Cebu Pacific as he called on the airline to promptly address the concerns of its passengers.
Go, during the Senate committee hearing on the passenger complaints against Cebu Pacific, recalled his positive experience with the airline.
“Gusto kong ipaalam na malaki ang tiwala ko sa Cebu Pacific. In fact, suki ako ng Cebu Pacific kapag umuuwi ako ng Mindanao. Many times, on time naman ang Cebu Pacific. May pagkakataon nga ina-announce pa nila na ahead of time sila, we are 20 minutes ahead of time, 30 minutes ahead of time. For this I commend them,” he said.
Nevertheless, Go acknowledged the concerns of the passengers and urged Cebu Pacific to take action on these complaints.
“I am urging Cebu Pacific to acknowledge the impact of these incidents on the affected passengers, particularly OFWs and tourists who rely heavily on your services. They deserve your utmost sympathy and support,” he said.
“I call upon the airline to take immediate action and rectify these issues to prevent further harm to their customers,” he added. Macon Ramos-Araneta
