Calabarzon’s Chiefs of Police reshuffled

Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City — PRO CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) has reshuffled twelve of its Chiefs of Police.

Seven are from Batangas, three from Laguna and two from Quezon. Cavite and Rizal have yet to be reshuffled.

In Batangas, Lt. Col. Ariel Azurin, Lipa City Chief of Police, waa replaced by Lt. Col. Rix Villareal. Azurin assumes post as 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company commander.

Lt. Col. Dwight Fonte Jr, was replaced by Lt. Col. Diana Del Rosario as Batangas City police chief.

Major Janver Cabata assumes his post as chief of police of Ibaan, Major Ronnie Aurellano as Rosario police chief, Major Danilo Manalo Jr in San Luis, Major Fernando Fernando for Taal, and Major Richard De Guzman in Tingloy.

In Laguna, Major Ajalino Balaoro, chief of police of Liliw, Major Melencio Arcita Jr of Magdalena and Major Jordan Aguilar of Victoria were replaced by Capt John Patrick Delos Santos, Capt Errol Frejas and Capt Myra Desiree Pasta respectively.

In Quezon, Maj. Joseph Ian Java, Malunay police chief, and Maj. Marlon Comia of Macalelon were replaced by Maj Marlon Comia and Cpt. Harold Panganiban.

According to Brig Gen Carlito Gaces, Calabarzon police regional director, the reshuffle was made as the officials are already overstaying in their current positions. I

“t is needed for the career enhancement of the relieved officials and also to give way to new breed of officers,” he said.
