PRO-4 awards 19 police officers medals for conduct

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A headed by Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces awarded 19 police officers for their significant accomplishments during the flag-raising ceremony here on Monday, May 8.

Awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan were Major Alex C. Casio, Staff Sgt. Joven Paul G. Dinio, Major Robin L. Martin, Capt. Joseph O. Natividad, Corporal Jeffree Q. Sardan, Corporal Yonard G. Moran, Major John Conrad A. Villanueva, Major Domingo Ballesteros Jr., Patrolman Marlon B. Villafranca, Major Rhonie R. Ariola, Staff Sgt. Florante A. Bogbog, Corporal John Eugene A. dela Cruz, Patrolman Romualdo A. Caliwag, Major Rodelio M. Calawit, Corporal Geoffrey C. Calma, Capt. John Joseph V. Carandang, and Staff Sgt. Aron Jay P. Mendoza;

The Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Major Alma H. Gapunuan and Master Sgt. Mark Anthony R. Gayadan, and the Medalya ng Papuri to Patrolman John Michael B. Rojas.

In his message, Gaces reiterated the five-focused agenda of PNP Chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. as his guiding principle in the PRO 4-A.

Acorda said these will guide his leadership in the police organization – prioritizing aggressive and honest law enforcement operations that respect human rights and increase conviction rates; boosting personnel morale and welfare; enhancing integrity, which is the foundation of their profession; investing in information and communication technology development; and community engagement.

“These shall be our guiding principle as we pursue our mission towards peace and order in the region,” Gaces said.

Gaces urged the people to support their efforts to make the region more peaceful and secure. He also met and welcomed the press corps covering the Region 4A Calabarzon.
