More than 3,000 urban poor and 25 indigenous peoples from the Dumagat-Remontado tribe stage their annual “Kalbaryo ng mga Maralita” or calvary of the poor in Quezon City, emulating Jesus Christ’s carrying of the cross to dramatize their call on the government to give attention to their needs for decent homes.
