Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – True to its sustainability commitments, SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) participated in a number of medical and dental missions in Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya.
On March 3, barangay Florentino saw the start of a face-to-face cluster medical mission supported by SNAP-Corporate Magat’s Social Responsibility (CSR) fund that will span the municipality of Diadi. The donation of medical items is valued Php 400,000.00.
The recipients thanked SNAP-Magat and the local government of Diadi for organizing the exercise. Since before the pandemic, it was their barangay’s first medical mission.
Diadi Mayor Sandy Gayaton was present during a Memorandum of Understanding between SNAP-Magat and Diadi municipality was signed on March 2. Since 2008, SNAP-Magat has supported the endeavor annually. The medical mission was suspended in 2021 as a result of the epidemic. Last year, SNAP-Magat provided pharmaceuticals to the Municipal Health Office for the health needs of their citizens in place of a direct medical mission.
