Twenty-five inmates or persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) receive their certificates of release from the Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City, handed out by Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla and Bureau of Corrections chief Gregorio Catapang. The event was signified by the release of white balloons. The DOJ says a total of 401 PDLs natiowide regained their freedom on Monday.
