Charmaine Angeles becomes one of the first female line crew to join Manila Electric Co.’s workforce when the power distributor pioneered the training and hiring of female line crew in Southeast Asia back in 2013. Through its gender diversity and inclusion program #Mbrace, Meralco implements initiatives to increase women representation in the organization to 40 percent by 2030. Meralco joins the rest of the world in celebrating International Women’s Day 2023 and in championing gender equity in line with this year’s theme of #EmbraceEquity.
