Women’s group Gabriela and the Commission on Human Rights held a “Purple Action Day” to register women’s demands for social justice during the opening of Women’s Month on Wednesday at the CHR Headquarters in Quezon City. QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, a staunch women’s rights advocate, spoke and signed the covenant supporting women’s rights.
