Help comes to disasters victims in Mati City

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program, distributed financial assistance to the landslide victims of Barangay Don Salvador, Mati City last January 4, 2023. A total of 414 families were provided financial aid amounting to P3,000.00. Meanwhile, two families whose family members remain missing each received P10,000.00 and a family who lost two members received P20,000.00. Due to heavy rains, a landslide incident occurred at Purok Sangay, Brgy. Don Salvador Lopez, Mati City, on December 28, 2022. Members of the city social welfare and development office were deployed immediately to distribute the agencys family food packs (FFPs) to the affected families.
