Real estate practitioners affiliated with the National Real Estate Association expressed readiness to join an industry-wide grand plan to implement and assure the achievement of the government’s goal to produce six million houses.
NREA urged the formulation of the plan that will converge and synergize the various government agencies’ and private sector groups’ initiatives and resources towards the successful implementation of the six million housing objective, to be led by the Department of Human Settlements and Human Developments.
Architect Ronie Biando, NREA national president, said in a statement that the association would announce its intention to formally join a convergence plan for housing when NREA holds its 31st anniversary, business meeting and Christmas celebration on Nov. 25, 2022 at the Grand Ballroom Of Diamond Hotel Philippines at 7 p.m.
The group invited OFW Partylist Rep. Marissa Magsino and DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar as the guests of honor and speakers.
National Housing Authority general manager Joeben Tai will also discuss the topic: “Aligning the National Housing Authority’s Programs towards Zero ISFs.” Colliers International associate director Joey Bondoc will talk on “The Economy and Real Estate Industry Outlook in 2023.”
Pag-IBIG Fund department manager III for institutional housing department-corporate sales group Jacqueline O. Constantino will also talk on the topic: “Countryside Housing Initiatives and Acquired Assets Disposal Programs.”
Honorary member and DepEd Undersecretary Epimaco V. Densing III, who heads key shelter agencies, was also invited as a special guest,
Board vice chair Imelda Magtoto said the in-person event attendees would include officials of government agencies, SME business owners, entrepreneurs, unvestors, heads of sales and marketing, business development directors, real estate professionals, online home oan experts, software solution company executives and the media.
NREA will also recognize exemplary members, chapters and chapter presidents, among others.
