NCRPO chief, Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo said some 500 police personnel would be deployed in the vicinities of De La Salle University-Manila, San Beda University, Manila Adventist College, University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City Campus, and the Ateneo de Manila University.

“Through the efforts and dedication of our personnel, we can envision the success of this. To the examinees, we wish you all success.

Guaranteed that our police officers are seen, felt, appreciated and perform tasks extraordinarily in order for us to ensure your safety and protection while you take the exam,” Estomo said.

In a media briefer, the Supreme Court through the Office of the Bar Confidant said there were 10,074 approved applications but only 10,006 participated in the venue selection.

However, as of noon yesterday, only 9,821 applicants were registered to take the Bar exams. The last three days of the examinations will be on Nov. 13, 16, and 20.

It said that of the 9,821 examinees, a total of 5,847 will be taking the tests for the first time while 3,974 others are repeaters.
