BPI Bayanihan Center

Bank of the Philippine Islands and social responsibility arm BPI Foundation Inc. turn over the first BPI Bayanihan Center to Batangas province in Barangay Malainin in the municipality of Ibaan. In partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation’s Project Safe Shelters, the 528-square-meter, two-story center is a disaster-resilient structure for the residents of Batangas. Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony are (from left) PDRF executive director Veronica Gabaldon, BPI Foundation executive director Owen Cammayo, BPI president and chief executive Jose Teodoro Limcaoco, Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas and PDRF president Rene Meily, along with other representatives of different organizations.
