Governor Medalla cites the domestic banking system’s resilience amid the pandemic, which is reinforced by the continued growth in banks’ assets and deposits, sustained profitability and robust capital and liquidity buffers. He says the BSP will continue to craft policies that strengthen the stability of the banking system and uphold the interest of depositors.
