Princess Jacel Kiram cleans the portrait of her father Jamalul Kiram III, Sultan of Sulu, who led the siege of Lahad Datu in 2013 to repossess Sabah from Malaysia, at their residence in Taguig City. A French arbitration court has instructed the Malaysian government to pay US$14.92 billion (about P837 billion) to the descendants of the last Sulu sultan last February 2022.
