CCLEX inspection

Former Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade (third from left) inspects the 8.9-kilometer Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway. With Tugade are (from left) Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corp. vice president and project manager Herbert Laboy, Metro Pacific Investments Corp. spokesperson Romulo Quimbo, Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority general manager Julius Neri Jr. and CCLEC president and general manager Allan Alfon. The CCLEX was built for almost four years without closing shipping traffic on the busy Mactan Channel and Port of Cebu. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines approved the height clearance of the CCLEX’s two main towers at 145 meters tall.
