After appearing in the highly successful Agimat ng Agila 2 opposite Sen. Bong Revilla, Rabiya Mateo expressed her excitement over the next project she’ll be doing for GMA. Titled TictoClock, the show is expected to begin airing in July.
The program, a variety game show, is rumored to take the time slot to be vacated by Mars Pa More, which, according to the grapevine, will have its curtain call in a few weeks’ time.
In the new show, Rabiya is said to be sharing hosting credits with Pokwang and Kim Atienza.
“Actually, we still have no formal briefing about it. But when I read GMA’s announcement through its official website, it’s a variety show in which we’ll highlight the exceptional talents of Filipinos like singing and dancing,” the beauty queen averred.
On the possibility that she’s going to share the screen with Pokwang and Kuya Kim, the 25-year-old Rabiya had nothing but good words to share.
“I’m very excited. We all have different personalities. Mama Pokwang is funny then, Kuya Kim is the intellectual one while I’m in the middle. I’m really looking forward to this program because it’s different. I know it will be a fun experience,” she said.
“I will be able to exhibit another side of me far from being a beauty queen,” ended Rabiya.

Tonton Gutierrez had nothing but good words for his junior co-stars in the new GMA primetime offering Love You Stranger namely, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, and Gil Cuerva.
“I’ve worked with Gabbi before when she was younger and she was the teeny-bopper type then,” he said in an interview. “But here in Love You Stranger, I was really surprised. She has become a fine actress. She has evolved as a good performer.”
As for Khalil, the veteran actor is hats-off to his considerable acting chops.
“I’m very much impressed with him! He’s a good actor. His voice, his facial expressions, body movements, and overall attack to the role are on the spot.”
How about Gil who is relatively new in the ‘biz?
“Well, he’s really trying to give his best in everything. We all know that he’s more of a host but here in ‘LYS’, he’s pushing himself to level up, especially when he’s doing scenes with Gabbi and Khalil. His improvement is remarkable!” stated Tonton.
