Navotas Mayor Toby Tiangco, through the Kadiwa Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA), gives away fishing nets to enable the 92 recipients to have a decent source of livelihood. Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, in collaboration with Navotas Rep. Rey Tiangco, releases P3,000 each to 7,264 registered fisherfolks in the city under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
