Celebrating International Women’s Month, the reigning Binibining Pilipinas queens, led by Bb. Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, moved and grooved during an afternoon of fitness and wellness ‘Zumba’ session held recently at Araneta City’s Times Square.
Joining Arnold, who is currently preparing for the upcoming Miss International 2022 pageant in Japan, were Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2021, Samantha Panlilio, Bb. Pilipinas 1st runner pp Gabrielle Basiano, Bb. Pilipinas 2nd runner up Meiji Cruz, and Bb. Araneta City Francesca Taruc.
Early this month, the Araneta Group and Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) received an Anvil Award for their modern approach and redefined take on the annual beauty pageant. The award-giving body recognized the innovations introduced by the Araneta Group and BPCI to the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant during the pandemic. Modern technology was utilized for creative executions such as the national costume augmented reality, multimedia advocacy promotions, mobile app voting, virtual pre-pageant presentations, and the grand coronation night which was broadcast live for the first time across multiple platforms.
Meanwhile, the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) announced the opening of the search for Bb. Pilipinas 2020 with the deadline of submission of application set on April 8. Those interested can download the 2022 Search Is On application form on https://www.bbpilipinas.com/.
Meanwhile, talking about another pageant that advocates women empowerment, the ongoing Miss Universe Philippines 2022 has revealed the winners of its Swimsuit Challenge. The battle of curves and fierceness was won by Ma. Katrina Llegado, who won Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 5th runner up. Michelle Dee, Miss world 2019 Top 12 finalist; and Celeste Cortesi, Miss Earth 2018 finalist came 2nd and third, respectively.
The coronation nighr for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 is set on April 30 at the MOA Arena.
