PHirst Park Homes Inc. president Ricky Celis was named the new chairman of the National Real Estate Association Inc.
NREA chairperson-emerita and chair of board of advisers Marissa del Mar, in the recent annual membership meeting, announced that Celis would lead the formidable roster of real estate companies and aficionados comprising the association.
Celis is the president of PHirst Park, an affordable business segment of the Philippine Stock Exchange-listed Century Properties Group Inc. in partnership with Mitsubishi Corp. He took oath on Feb. 11 before Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Eduardo Del Rosario.
Other NREA newly-elected officials include vice chair Imelda Magtoto, and president Ronie Biando. Also elected were Red Rosales of the Villar Group of Companies as executive vice president; Eduardo Sanchez Jr., of First Centerland Development Corp. as vice president for external affairs; Flerida Atayde, vice president for internal affairs; Zenaida Fruto, vice president for chapter affairs; Ma. Ysolde Prado, secretary-general; Nicole Marie Choa, treasurer; Ruth Marie Atienza, Auditor; Rodolfo Leonen, trustee and education chair; and Jeffrey Bongat, public relation officer.
