Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno (top left) leads the launching of the PESONet Multiple Batch Settlement facility in support of broader efforts to digitalize half of retail payments volume and onboard 70 percent of adult Filipinos to the formal financial system by 2023. The MBS facility increases the frequency of batch settlements from one to two in a move that is expected to boost person-to-government, government-to-person and business-to-business payments. With Diokno are Monetary Board members, other officials of BSP, PESONet steering committee and partner agencies.
