Members of the militant group Bayan Muna hold a silent protest to denounce the murder of one of its leaders, Manny Asuncion, during the first hearing on his case 10 months after the so-called Bloody Sunday raid that left nine activists dead. At least 17 policemen and one agent of Criminal Investigation and Detection have been indicted for Asuncion’s killing in Dasmariñas, Cavite on March 7, 2021.
