Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez is the special guest of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum for its first session for the year 2022 on Tuesday, Jan. 11.
Ramirez is expected to talk about the agency’s plans and programs for the year, specifically the country’s participation in two major international events, namely, the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, and the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
The PSC mediation on the current dispute between world-ranked pole vaulter EJ Obiena and the leadership of the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association will also be tackled in the virtual session starting at 10 a.m.
The weekly Forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, MILO® Philippines, Amelie Hotel Manila, Braska Restaurant, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation and new social media and webcast partner Prime Edge.
