Waiting for Santa

Poor families, including children, women and the elderly in the capital city of Manila, make a weekend sight at the premises of the bayside Ospital ng Maynila while waiting for Santa Claus, also known as Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, or simply Santa, a legendary figure originating in Western Christian culture said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on the night of Christmas Eve or during the early morning hours of Christmas Day.
