Appearing like fireflies, a swarm of drones recently light up the sky to bring magic and holiday merriment at SM City Marilao in Bulacan.
Thousands of shoppers came to witness the “Sparkling” light show as drones synchronized to music and morphed into a stunning aerial show in the night sky.
“We are so thrilled for this fantastic holiday display,” said SM City Marilao asst. mall manager engineer Janette Aguilera.
“The first drone show here at SM City Marilao is a shining example of the new things the mall has in store for shoppers,” she added.
Vignettes included larger-than-life holiday images such as 3D snowflakes, Christmas lights, and fireworks.
The moving image of a reindeer enthralled the audience as it left everyone staring at the celestial show. Capping the sparkling light show is a star of hope that changes color, as it moved seamlessly to the well-known Christmas carol “O Holy Night.”
Produced by Platinum Fireworks Inc., “Sparkling” is a 15-minute display that soars up to 300 feet along pre-programmed routes. More environmentally safe than fireworks, the drone light show is defined by 15 watts of LED lights in different colors.
