Solano, Nueva Vizcaya—Five deserving underprivileged Small Town Lottery collectors and their families here will receive gift packs from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Central Office on Dec. 11, the lotto operator here revealed.
Kings 810 Gaming Corp., an accredited agent corporation of PCSO, said the STL collectors will receive their “Handog Pasasalamat sa Pamilyang Pilipino” gift packs worth P10,000, one 50-kilo sack of rice, and P2,000 in cash right after the Mega Lotto Draw with live telecast on PTV 4.
Kings 810 sponsored the gifts to the recipient families and their transportation to Manila and back, the firm announced. They hailed from the different towns of Nueva Vizcaya—Bayombong, Dupax del Sur, Kayapa, Kasibu and Solano.
“The gifts are wholeheartedly sponsored by the company to be given to the recipients. PCSO had ordered all active ACCs to bring in five indigent families to PCSO Central Office to be recipients of the Handog Pasasalamat sa Pamilyang Pilipino Program but we insisted that the recipients should be from our employees because there are many who were indigents too,” the company said in a statement.
The ACCs were the ones who initiated this program to PCSO, Kings 810 added, as it recommend their employees and their families “because the company wants to recognize and honor their loyalty, pay them tribute and compensate the diligence and hard work of our collectors as they precipitate their functions in all kinds of weather.”
“These collectors made the company strong and through their efforts the continuous patronage of our fellow Novo Vizcayanos were channeled to the company through our front liners, and those were our collectors. With these, indeed we are very grateful,” the company added.
The PCSO through its Small Town Lottery started its gift giving activity last Oct. 5 and will continue until Dec. 31 this year.
The gift-giving is done by the PCSO after every Mega Lotto draw on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, Kings 810 said.
