Bayombong offers lots for government agencies

Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya—Mayor Ralph Lantion said lots are being offered for occupancy among government agencies who are interested to construct their own office buildings.

The donated 2-hectare lot in barangay La Torre North is part of the huge lot of the Daniel Lantion Foundation being managed by Mayor Ralph and his older brother, retired police general Thompson Lantion.

“We are offering this for interested government agencies to construct their own office buildings as part of our vision to transform our municipality as a center of government,” he said.

The lot is also a part of the 3,000-square-meter Sports Complex, which is funded in part by the Lantion’s Foundation.

The P45 million state-of-the-art sports complex has been funded initially with P5 million, according to Lantion.

“The sports complex will house indoor games such as basketball, volleyball, boxing, and other events,” the mayor added.

He said government agencies have pledged their intention to build their office buildings in the complex, such as the recent Philippine National Police municipal station, a proposed P10-million Department of Agrarian Reform provincial office building, P15-million Department of the Interior and Local Government building and P65 million Bureau of Internal Revenue regional office building.

Other government agencies also signified their intention for the building of their office such as the Land Transportation and Regulatory Board, Land Transportation Office and Crime Laboratory of the PNP, among others.
