Formidable SEAG Team

Bemedalled triathlete Mary Pauline Fornea will be competing for the first time in the coming 30th Southeast Asian Games under the Standard Insurance women’s duathlon team. Fornea recently won the championship in the Northeast Duathlon Sprint held recently in Maryland, USA. She also qualified for Team USA in the 2020 ITU Standard Duathlon World Championship. Training under USNA running coach Karen Boyle, Fornea will be joining Asia’s duathlon queen Monica Torres and veteran campaigner Jelsie de Vera Sabado in the women’s division to form a formidable team in the SEA Games this December at the Subic Bay Freeport.
