Fratmen give aid to Nueva Vizcaya school

Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya—Members of a school-based fraternity here recently gave assistance to the Kasibu East Central School in barangay Malabing here.

Reynald Tan, president of the Alpha Phi Omega International Service Fraternity and Sorority—Theta Epsilon Chapter Alumni Association said the activity was part of their yearly service to various schools in the southern part of the province.

“This is part of our objective to help schools in their quest for better educational facilities and environment,” he said.

APO Theta Epsilon Chapter is a collegiate fraternity based in Bambang town and recognized by the Nueva Vizcaya State University Bambang campus as one of its student service organizations.

Tan said the services rendered by the APO-TECAA members were the construction of the KECS flagpole base, establishment of its eco-garden, mural painting, tree planting and feeding activities for the school children, among others.

Tan added that the school assistance was also supported by other civic organizations and partner agencies of the fraternity.

“With this, we are extending our gratitude to our partners for a very noble activity which will benefit the schoolchildren of KECS and their parents,” he added.
