Relocation

Workers start to demolish the base of the Ninoy Aquino statue at the corner of Timog and Quezon Avenues on Friday, Sept. 13, after the Aquino children have given their consent to relocate it to a more suitable site in Quezon City. A recent DPWH road clearing operation to ease traffic at the area has caused damage to the statue's base which prompted QC Mayor Joy Belmonte to reach out to the Aquino family.
