Joy on the move

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte (left) meets with informal settler families whose houses are erected on the sidewalk at the Balintawak Market. Belmonte has promised to help relocate the families in a safe environment. The mayor also checks on a vacant lot in Barangay Sta. Monica in Novaliches (below), which can be potentially developed into a public market and multi-level parking facility, as the city government is on the lookout for properties that can be developed to address road congestion in the area.
