Model and TV host Heidi Klum, fashion influencer Olivia Palermo, singer/songwriter Mandy Moore, model/philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, and our very own Heart Evangelista were some of the special guests at the LouBhoutan Express cocktail party at Manège Battisti in La Caserne des Cèlestins during the recent Paris Haute Couture Week.
Christian Louboutin was on hand at the party to debut his women's spring/summer 2020 collection.
Manège Battisti, which was transformed into a LouBhoutan Express—taking guests from Paris, France to Thimphou, Bhutan—showcased the capsule collection that drew inspiration from the shades and vastness of the Himalayan sky.
Mesmerized and inspired, Louboutin paid homage to the ornamental richness of Bhutanese architecture and the diversity of Bhutanese craftsmanship with 13 exclusive styles.
The said designs, which feature hand-sculpted and hand-painted wood platforms, the fashion house said, are the result of six years of artistic and creative dialogue with the students of the School of The 13 Royal Arts and Crafts in Thimphou, Bhutan.
Also present at the unveiling were Rowan Blanchard, Ellie Bamber, Adria Arjona, Sabrina Elba, Anna Cleveland, Maria Borges, Inna Modja, Kiddy Smile, Nicolas Maury, Rossy de Palma, Cindy Bruna, Julien Landais, Shain Boumedine, Samy Seghir, Karidja Touré, Tigarah, Joanne Palmaro, Joséphine Japy, Morgane Polanski, Audrey Marnay, Bertrand Bonello, Mélita Toscan du Plantier, Farida Khelfa, Setsuko Klossowska de Rola, Eva Ionesco, Blanca Li, HRH Princess Mafalda Cécilia, Corine, Inés Rau, Georgina Brandolini, Noémie Merlant, Pema Choden Ambassadress of Bhutan in Belgium, Song Jia, Sririta Jensen, Jarrod Scott, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Charlotte Groeneveld, Natasha Poonawala, Tina Leung, and Shiona Turini.
