A newly opened museum combines education and entertainment, inviting guests, especially those who love to take photos with the exhibits, to have fun and learn about the Philippines.

Lakbay Museo, a project of the Millennial Concept Factory, Inc., highlights Filipino identity, culture, and tradition by featuring Philippine attractions, culinary flavors, and colorful fiestas and festivals with an interactive twist.

According to a statement, it is part of the group's advocacy to encourage and educate Filipinos to experience and preserve our heritage. The museum, located on the ground floor of S Maison at Conrad Manila in SM Mall of Asia Complex, aims to nurture patriotism in the next generation of Filipinos, and guidance for foreign tourists.

Lakbay Museo takes guests to all regions of the Philippines with 11 astounding interactive landmark destinations perfect for photo-ops like the Tondo streets, Calle Crisologo, the Ivatan House of Batanes, Pahiyas Festival, Rice terraces, and Ifugao house, Barasoain Church, Magellan’s Cross, the Sto. Niño shrine, Mayon Volcano, Marine Biodiversity, and Mindanao Royal House.

It also offers a glimpse of each region through its well-known festivals, dances, and costumes showcased in over 120 prosthetic Filipino dressed mannequins.

In addition to lively festivities, visitors can feast their eyes on more than 600 dishes from 13 famous regional cuisines, and learn through the wide-set diorama of regional livelihood and local products.

Or they can play with more than 20 variations of rice grains, relish the aroma of different Philippine coffee roasts, taste Pinoy favorite dips and condiments, and delight in the assortment of fabric in the region.

In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry's One Town, One Product (OTOP) this Philippine millennial-themed museum concept helps 189 micro, small and medium-scale enterprises in the country gain market access for their products.

To advocate support not just for small entrepreneurs but environment as well, Lakbay Museo promotes conservation as nearly all of the exhibits were constructed using 4,560 old and used rubber slippers and scrapped materials, 328 old rubber tires, 453 old car mats, and a variety of recyclable materials.

The museum also provides job opportunities to out of school youths, non-professionals, local artists, disabled persons, and senior citizens.

Online rate for ticket is P699. It is priced at P799 for walk-ins and during holidays. Each ticket comes with 12 chips, which guests can use to buy goodies inside the “palengke.” Tour starts every 15 minutes.
