Cleanup continues

Backhoes dredge garbage and silt at the Manila Yacht Club compound, considered the ground zero of the Save Manila Bay project under Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Department of Public Works and Highways reported they have hauled 3,036.6 metric tons of garbage and waste materials in its continuous cleanup efforts from MYC to the coastal areas of Tarlac province as of July 4.
