Farmers in Benguet would rather dump this sizable harvest of cucumbers than sell it at a losing price in the wholesale market at La Trinidad’s training post, producers in the province told Manila Standard on Thursday. Cucumbers were not even listed for the day’s commodities on sale, according to the Cordillera Trading Post Vegetable Trucks Association.
