Workers from the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission demolish shanties along Estero Magdalena on Claro M. Recto Avenue in Manila’s Binondo district Thursday. About 270 families will be relocated to Trece Martirez, Cavite. The clearing operation is in preparation for the coming rainy season to declog the flow of the Pasig River.
