Multimedia artist Rosscapili commemorates the beauty of nature through his flawless orchestration of color.
In his latest exhibition, entitled “Bravura: Homage of Trees,” at The Crucible Gallery, the Tondo-born artist showcases nine acrylics on canvases and five metal sculptures that mimic the fluidity of his style.
Usually working with acrylic and water-based materials, Rosscapili explores metal and hard steel with the metal sculptures, which he eventually wants to see displayed in other venues.
“I dream someday to transform the sculpture in bigger spaces producing tree art-environmental public pieces,” he shared.
“In a way, those I’m going to show are just maquettes.
