Mariveles, Bataan—Municipal officials here seeking reelection comprising Team #1Bataan #YesMariveles headed by Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion vowed to continue the progress and efficient delivery of services in this fast-rising industrial town.
Concepcion said they have implemented priority developmental projects during his term.
“We have built roads, multi-purpose halls, and drainages in your barangays,” the mayor said in a recent campaign sortie.
“We bring the government closer to the people with Serbisyong Abot-Kamay Hanggang Barangay (Service Within Reach up to the Villages),” he said.
“We are known not only in the province but in the entire country for being an awardee of the Seal of Good Local Governance from the DILG (Department of the Interior and Local Government),” the mayor said.
Mariveles has also become a consistent recipient of the Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping from the DILG for efficient fiscal management and financial transparency, he noted.
With their serious effort in the tobacco control initiative the town also became a recipient of the Red Orchid award from the Department of Health, the mayor reported.
Concepcion also reported to townsfolk the programs he initiated in education, agriculture, and disaster response. He also cited the continued efficient delivery of basic services to the people.
“We are able to move towards progress with the support of the Sangguniang Bayan led by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia,” he said.
Rubia is running for his second term.
The mayor said he remains strong and broad-minded in the face of harsh criticisms and smear campaigns and will “just continue serving the people.”
Aside from Concepcion and Rubia, Team #1Bataan#YesMariveles includes reelectionist Councilors Tito Catipon, Angel Sunga, Susan Murillo, Joey Carandang, Harry Golocan, Turing Isip, Em Reyes, and councilor candidate Ronald Arcenal.
