“Hope and inspirations are among my objectives to uplift the lives of the majority of the Filipino people,”  Romero says in the video.

1PACMAN, which  represents fisherfolk, farmers, peasants and other laborers, recognizes the needs of these people who are living in abject poverty brought about by serious economic and social problems.

Among the group’s programs that extended assistance to Filipinos is providing 10,000 jobs and scholarships to children of poor families.

Even while he was in the private sector, Romero has contributed to  the economy through the modernization of Manila North Harbor and the promotion of  budget travel under AirAsia Philippines.

Rep. Romero entered into politics with the vision of helping senior citizens and displaced former athletes who had given honor to their respective provinces and the country, support undiscovered young potential athletes who do not have access to formal, professional training and financial assistance to be able to compete for their country.

A number of programs were initiated by  1PACMAN under the leadership of Romero that includes a Scholarship Program wherein 12,000 students benefited.

Senators Manny Pacquiao and  Lito Lapid gave testimonies of the programs initiated by 1PACMAN in the viral video.

Romero vows to continue these programs  for the welfare of all other informal sectors, especially the most marginalized and neglected by private and public institutions because of their sheer number and distance from the centers of commerce and urban development.
