Makati Mayor Abby Binay is all smiles as she presents a P100,000 check to Mrs. Andresa T. Caparos, the newest centenarian to be recognized by the city. The mayor and Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo visited the centenarian at her home in Barangay Pembo on Friday. Born on February 19, 1919, Mrs. Caparos is the 30th awardee of the cash gift during the term of Mayor Abby. She was married to the late Buenaventura Caparros, with whom she had eight children. Her family has been living in Makati since 1975, and Caparos has been a Blu Card member since April 5, 2004.
