The 1Bataan Risers and the Pasig Grindhouse Kings are favored to fight their way back into the finals in the third leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup today at the SM Fairview Events Center today.
The last time around, the Kings found a way to get payback on the 1Bataan Risers in the second leg.
And that’s when Fil-American cager Joshua Munzon knocked in the winning two-pointer in the closing minute for 21-18 triumph in their finals rematch with the Risers.
The Risers won the first leg crown at the expense of the Kings.
Max4 Birada of Cebu will be the Kings’ first opponent when action begins at 11 a.m.
Zamboanga Valiente-MLV will clash with the Risers in the second game.
So far, the 1Bataan Risers leads the rankings with 100 followed by Pasig-Grindhouse Kings with 80.
Carga Valenzuela Classic have 70 while the Pasay Voyagers are in fourth with 60.
The San Juan Knights-Go for Gold follow with 50 while Max4-Cebu Birada has 45.
