Tobacco tax rallies

Tobacco farmers from the north rally in front of the Senate in Pasay City on Tuesday, Jan. 29, to oppose another excise tax being tackled by the Senate ways and means committee even as doctors and health advocates stage a ‘pabitin’ during a rally just outside the Senate building to urge lawmakers to pass the tobacco excise tax bill.
