Dinalupihan, Bataan—The annual sectoral assembly in this town is being expanded and institutionalized by Mayor Gila Garcia.
“More sectors are now involved in the assembly,” the lady mayor told local women members of Kalipi in the jampacked Dinalupihan Civic Center on Tuesday.
“Thank you for all your support. Rest assured, we will continue empowering all the sectors in our town,” she said.
“Thank you also to all elected officials of Dinalupihan. We all work together,” Garcia added.
“The preparation for the sectoral assembly entails hard work especially for our MSWD. Thank you MSWD,” she said.
Kalipi members in villages of this town got Christmas food packs from the municipal government. There were also raffle draws.
The two-week long assembly included sectors senior citizens, persons with disabilities, Kalipi, indigenous people, veterans, barangay officials, and teachers, among others.
