The investment banking arm of the Metrobank Group conducted another round of its ‘Bigay Liwanag’ vision care project, a program under its CSR platform dubbed ‘First Metro Inspires Care.’ The bank donated prescription glasses to 109 students found to have vision problems at the school. Earlier, First Metro donated 96 eyeglasses to students of Bacood Elementary School also in Sta. Mesa, Manila, as ‘Bigay Liwanag’ has benefitted nearly 3,000 children since its inception 10 years ago.
