What do you get when you mix old-school funk and reggae? How about a track with hip-hop influences with a twist of R&B?
Jamaican-Canadian recording artist J. Young rocks that perfect blend with a collection of year-round summer anthems, dance hall beats, and chill beach tunes on his first full length Philippine debut release entitled Three Sixty.
Produced by Adam H. Hurstfield, Three Sixty features the single “They Ain’t You” as the banner track for the new release.
Work on J. Young’s 12-track album started back in 2015, and the two continued to tinker all tracks until it was finally ready for the big Philippine release.
J. Young and Adam H. agreed to call it Three Sixty for its ability to go full circle from pop, to R&B, to dance, to funk, to pop again.
Jumping from the reggae funk of Electric to EDM pop tune “They Ain’t You” to a track that pays homage to the King of Pop in “She’s A Thrilla” also featuring the Canadian pop hit “Oxygen”, and that’s just four out of twelve.
The new record now finds its home among the most exciting albums that Viva Records have released this 2018.
J. Young is a passionate artist with an ear for reggae melodies. His music career kicked off when he performed alongside Boys II Men, then went on to be signed with an Australian record label.
As much as he loved working in the land down under, his heart also wanted to venture off to his home country, Canada. This is where he met and began his work with Adam H.
Adam H. of course, has worked with a huge number of noteworthy artists including, Ne-Yo, Elise Estrada, The Manhattans,Ashley Tisdale, Sarah Burgess, Sarah Geronimo, and James Reid, to name a few.
Three Sixty is Now Available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and all digital music stores.
The official music video for “They Ain’t You” featuring Roxanne Barcelo and Ashley Rivera aired on MYX last Sept. 28 within Pinoy Myx.

Through Adam’s XOXO Entertainment Corp (an imprint of Universal Music Canada), Three Sixty will be coming out worldwide soon.
“The Philippines is our starting point. And why not, right? My company has partnership with labels around the world so they can expect this album to be everywhere soon,” Adam said.
