A boy spreads some of the ingredients for an ‘inipit’ or flat pastry as he and around 60 culinary students attempted to make the biggest inipit during the grand launching of Bulacan Art festival at SM City Marilao on Thursday. Measuring 20 feet wide, weighing 200 kilos and yielding over 11,300 servings, the record dessert was made up of 7,600 eggs, 350 cans of evaporated milk, 250 kilos of sugar, 167 sacks of cake flour, 125 bricks of unsalted butter, 63 liters of cake oil, 8 kilos of baking powder, and 11 bottles of vanilla flavoring. It was cooked for 120 hours.
